The moment I wanted to give up on art forever,
I discovered its positive energy.

In the first decade of my career, I drank champagne with High Society. My motto was, what does the world cost? Then I followed my life's dream and, full of idealism, exhibited young artists with potential in my living room for two years. I gave everything and also lost it. Ouch, that hurt. When I was at the bottom, I swore to myself to end this dream of being a successful gallery owner forever.

And yet the most amazing thing happened. During that difficult time, I invited guests to dinner at my place. My art collection hung on my walls. A mixture of gallery purchases and artist gifts. And my guests began to ask me about the artwork.

As I talked, my body jumped upright. My eyes sparkled. My voice became more self confident. Then two of the most beautiful feelings filled my soul, pride and joy. Pride in my willingness to take risks. Joy that art accompanies me even in my dark hours and gives me positive energy again and again.

There is a work of art for everyone

I am convinced that every person should possess art. Not only as a digital photo in his photo stream, but as an analogue object that aesthetically stimulates our eyes and evokes positive feelings in us.

There are undiscovered works of art suitable for every person. I enable people to find and acquire this cultural wealth. I take away people's fear of entering a threshold and encourage them to take their own steps.

Because I am convinced of one thing more: that everyone must discover his or her own work of art.
